what our guests say...

"I can't recommend this cabin retreat highly enough. We booked online without local knowledge of the cabin and we're delighted when we arrived. It's beautifully restored, private, luxurious, cosy and enjoys lovely views from all windows. The owners have created something very unique and beautiful and we will certainly be returning next time we travel to the lakes."

"Feel very lucky to have stayed here. It really is a haven of tranquillity, somewhere you can go relax and unwind. We wanted for nothing during our stay. The owners have thought of everything. There is no TV but there is WiFi and everything has been finished to a very high spec. The owners obviously has immaculate taste, everything in there is high class. A real gem. We cannot wait to go back. There is no place like this. This lady has even written all her personal recommendations for you. Thanks again."

"We couldn't have been more delighted to be the first members of the public to stay at Peasecroft, which is nothing short of perfection. From high-end Dualit appliances to White Company furnishings, this cosy cabin sits firmly at the luxe end of the shabby chic canon. We wanted for nothing during our stay, our every move anticipated from egg cups to potato masher! The building retains heat amazingly so a couple of pieces in the log burner kept us toasty all day long. With stunning views, thoughtful owners (cake waiting on arrival!) & the village a stroll away, we couldn't have been happier."
